🧱 Core Components

1️⃣ Screener

A tool to explore all financial assets in a dynamic and in-depth way.

Key features:

• Complete list of companies and funds that report to the SEC (and, in the future, other jurisdictions).
• Advanced filters by metrics, sector, country, market cap, growth, and more.
• AI Filter: users can write natural prompts like "companies related to quantum computing" and the system applies the criteria as just another filter.

• Split view: company list on the left and detailed view on the right (desktop and tablet).
• Company detail section including:
• General information (description, activity, sector, country)
• Historical financial statements
• Comparisons with peers or industry averages
• Future feature: full customization of the company detail view.

2️⃣ Pages

A workspace for creating rich, data-driven analyses, where users can combine text, charts, metrics, and financial components into collaborative and visual documents.

Key features:

• Flexible block system (text, tables, charts, metrics, financial widgets).
• Add data directly from the Screener (e.g., a chart or a metric).
• Ideal for building reports, dashboards, or thematic research.
• Collaboration and shared publishing between users.

⚙️ Current Stage (Early Build)

• ✅ Mass data collection and classification from SEC EDGAR (CIKs, tickers, exchanges, asset categories, filings, etc.)
• ✅ Initial database infrastructure built on Supabase
• 🧩 Development of the basic Screener and data enrichment pipeline (company, sector, financial statements)
• 💻 Web prototype in progress, built with v0 (by Vercel) and updated weekly
• 🧠 Initial functional version of the Screener: lists and filters all SEC assets (without detailed info yet)
• 🧪 Pages proof of concept using mock data, validating the editing experience and block structure
• 🚧 In progress: 10-K / 20-F filing extraction to obtain company descriptions and financial statements

🚀 Next Steps

• Complete the Screener MVP with detailed company information and a full detail panel.
• Implement automatic extraction and summarization of 10-K / 20-F filings to generate "Company Overviews".
• Continue developing the functional Pages prototype, integrating real financial data and analytical components.
• Develop an economic AI model to enable semantic filtering within the Screener.
• Continue weekly public updates, documenting progress and the road to the MVP.
